Last week, MCYD engaged with Congressman Huffman over dinner. We sat around a table and got to hear first-hand from our representative what was going on in the House and what he saw for the future of our country. We asked detailed questions and heard very detailed answers. He had successfully passed a bill that morning regarding banning Confederate flags in Veteran's cemeteries funded by the federal government. Although there was great discord between the two parties on the matter, the Congressman successfully passed the bill with great support. We thank the Congressman for his time and also to those who came by that night! It was a great event.
